For private GP practices

AI documentation for private general practice

A general practice visit can cover three problems in fifteen minutes. Docdemic listens to the consultation and drafts a structured visit note, so you can review it, sign it and move on to the next patient.

Where the documentation time goes

  • Several problems in one visit

Patients bring a list. Keeping each complaint, its findings and its plan separate in the note takes time you do not have between appointments.

  • Letters on top of the note

A referral means writing the history again for the receiving clinician, and the patient often wants something in writing too.

  • Coding after the fact

Diagnosis codes get added at the end of the day from memory, or left vague because looking them up interrupts the flow.

What Docdemic does for you

  • Visit note from the conversation

Record live or upload audio. Docdemic transcribes the consultation and writes a SOAP or visit note with each problem kept apart. You review and edit before saving.

  • Referral letter from the same visit

Generate a referral with the relevant history, findings and the question you want answered, without retyping it.

  • Patient summary in plain language

Give the patient a short after-visit summary of what was discussed and what happens next, written from the same visit.

  • ICD-10 suggestions

Docdemic suggests ICD-10 codes from the note, checked against the official code list (ICD-10-CM in the US). You confirm or change them.

  • Between-visit check-ins

Invite a patient to answer a few questions you choose on their phone before the next appointment. Their answers are summarised for you when you write the next note.

  • Consultations in 30+ languages

Transcription and notes work in more than 30 languages, useful when the consultation is not in the language of your record.

Frequently asked questions

Can it handle several problems in one consultation?

Yes. The note keeps each problem with its own findings and plan, and you can edit the structure before saving.

Does it write referral letters?

Yes. A referral letter can be generated from the same visit, using the history and findings already in the note. You review it before it goes anywhere.

Which diagnosis codes does it suggest?

ICD-10 codes, checked against the official code list. US practices get ICD-10-CM; Swedish practices get ICD-10-SE and KVÅ. You decide which codes go on the record.

How do notes get into our record system?

You can copy and paste into any system. A browser extension for web-based record systems and a desktop app for Windows record systems, which insert the note into the field you are typing in, are rolling out.

Where is patient data stored?

In EU data centres. Your content is not used to train AI models, and Docdemic does not use OpenAI. US practices can request a BAA.
