Other services

These are not subprocessors of customer data, but you may want to know about them.

  • PubMed (NCBI), Europe PMC, OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar

Public literature databases. They receive search terms for literature searches, never patient records; patient identifiers are removed from chat-generated queries.

  • Web Push (the patient’s browser vendor)

Check-in reminders travel through the push service of the patient’s own browser (for example Google, Apple or Mozilla). The message is end-to-end encrypted and holds only a generic reminder.

  • Microsoft, Google (single sign-on)

If you choose to sign in with Microsoft or Google, that provider confirms who you are. It receives no clinical data from Docdemic.

  • OpenPanel

Product statistics run on our own self-hosted OpenPanel server in the EU. It never receives clinical content.
