- Samtal där pedagogiska metoder används för undervisning och rådgivning. Åtgärden syftar till att öka patientens kunskap om sina symtom och sin funktionsnedsättning samt utveckla patientens färdigheter i att hantera sin livssituation. Avser psykopedagogisk behandling som inte ingår som en integrerad del i en behandling som kodas på annat sätt, t.ex. KBT (DU011) samt Information och undervisning riktad till patient (GB009)
How DU023 is used
Swedish care providers record a KVÅ code for each procedure they carry out and report it, together with the patient’s ICD-10 diagnosis codes, to the National Patient Register. The diagnosis says what the patient has; the KVÅ code says what was done. Medical codes have two letters and three digits and cover investigations, treatments and other care that is not surgery.
