- Information till och utbildning av patient av väsentligt större omfattning än vad som förekommer vid ordinära kontakter, t.ex. smärtskola, astmaskola, KOL-skola, ryggskola eller strukturerade patientutbildningar av olika slag. Artrosskola, se GB020
How GB009 is used
Swedish care providers record a KVÅ code for each procedure they carry out and report it, together with the patient’s ICD-10 diagnosis codes, to the National Patient Register. The diagnosis says what the patient has; the KVÅ code says what was done. Medical codes have two letters and three digits and cover investigations, treatments and other care that is not surgery.
