- Ordination och uppföljning av behandling med specialkost (kost som fyller vissa kriterier med avseende på närings- och livsmedelssammansättning och som används vid specifika diagnoser). Specialkost är exempelvis dialyskost, fettreducerad kost, glutenfri kost, laktosreducerad kost och proteinreducerad kost. Utesluter: Nutritionsbehandling, individuellt anpassad kost (DV051)
How DV139 is used
Swedish care providers record a KVÅ code for each procedure they carry out and report it, together with the patient’s ICD-10 diagnosis codes, to the National Patient Register. The diagnosis says what the patient has; the KVÅ code says what was done. Medical codes have two letters and three digits and cover investigations, treatments and other care that is not surgery.
