Start with search
On Step 1 (Find papers), enter your review question and let Docdemic prepare a PubMed search, or paste an exact librarian-built query. Reviews follow PRISMA by default.
Let AI build the search
Write the review question in plain language, including population, exposure/intervention, comparison, and outcomes when known. Docdemic turns it into a searchable PubMed strategy and screens retrieved abstracts against your criteria.
Search and screen
- Use Autopilot search + screen to retrieve PubMed abstracts and AI screening suggestions in one step.
- Open expert options when you need date ranges, publication types, MeSH terms, or a librarian-built query string.
- Confirm include/exclude decisions yourself — AI suggestions are decision support, not final adjudication.
- Record reasons for exclusion at full-text stage so the PRISMA flow diagram exports correctly later.
Extract, write, and export
Move eligible sources into Evidence and Extraction, then use Write for draft Methods/Results/Discussion sections grounded in your extracted data, or Export for screening records, evidence tables, PRISMA flow data, and files you can hand off to a broader review workflow.
